Jean-Michel is a classically trained, bilingual actor, accomplished in stage and screen work.

A graduate of Studio 58 in Vancouver, the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre Training and the CFC Actor’s Conservatory.

He has completed four seasons at Stratford for which he received rave reviews and the John Hirsch Award for a young actor showing the greatest potential.

As a classical French actor, he has performed across Canada and at Montreal’s renowned Théâtre du nouveau monde.

In television, he has played principal roles on Orphan Black, Rookie Blue, Flashpoint, Transporter, Change of Plans, Mayday, Jeremiah and the French series Ramville and Météo+.

In film, he’s played supporting and principal roles in Sarah Polley’s Take This Waltz (TIFF 2011), John A: Birth of a Nation, Foxfire (TIFF 2012) and What We Have.
