Born and raised in Toronto, Michael started his training in the fine arts program at the University of Regina and graduated from Vancouver’s theatre training program Studio 58.

Michael performed professionally in Vancouver in Tomas At Mile Zero, Revenge, and Steel Kiss, for which he was awarded the Jessie Award for Significant Artistic Achievement.

Michael’s first television credit, as the boy in CBC’s The Englishman’s Boy, earned him a Gemini nomination for best performance by an actor in a leading role. Michael’s other TV credits include a guest star role on Sanctuary and a recurring role on The Guard.

Michael acted along side Sam Rockwell in a Single Shot and Edward Furlong in Below Zero. His other feature film credits are Cole, 13 Eerie, The Hit Team and The Night Man.
